Every year, from October 2nd to 8th, India comes together to celebrate "Daan Utsav, the Joy of Giving Week." Beginning on Gandhi Jayanti, millions of people across the country participate in the spirit of giving through donations, volunteering, and everyday acts of kindness.
First initiated in 2009, Daan Utsav has grown into one of India's largest celebrations of giving, bringing together individuals, organisations, and communities around a shared belief: that everyone has something to give.
